I know we all have our own opions, but as a whole wich of the following bike related magazines / paper (in MCN's case) is best value for money.

I currently get Ride (well subscribition came with racksck whihc has proved to be very useful) But sometimes i feel it is a little thin.

cheers matt

I find PB has the most interesting articles, but I like Ride because there is usually something good in there as well.

Currently subscribe to TWO, but after 6 months they seem to be going over the same ground, so thinking about cancelling the subscription.
Will seriously consider defecting over to a Ride subscription, if only to check out the "Ride recommended" reviews which helped me avoid wasting some hard earned cash inthe past. Thumbs Up

UBG went down hill since they stopped rating older and or rare models I thought it was bad in not listing imports either.

Or maybe it's just a poor poll Razz.

The mags cover different areas, so asking which is 'best' is a bit pointless, never mind that you miss out loads of them.

And that a lot of people think they're all a bit cack, so it's rather a mute point Smile.

Yup but they are based on a niche area , just how many times can you review a CBR600/CBR1000? , just flicking through some Old TWO I have the CBR1000 is reviewed at least 4 times per year ,

the 1000s test
best king o bikes
long termer
and recently intercontinental balleric missiles,

since few people can afford the latest greatest and best its appeal is limited.

Similar to top gear though, which gets a lot more interest reviewing new shiny cars most of the time, than the shows that do reviews of cars that the majority of people can consider buying.

but cars have a much broader market and many more makers therefore a certain car may appear once or twice a year as there is such a variety , while bikes the same ones are reviewed over and over.

I used to regulary buy fast bikes, performance bikes, superbike magazine etc.

Then i realised that all they do is repeat everything and i just got sick of "the best sports 600 / 1000" group test all the time.

MCN is the biggest pile of bollocks ever made into a publication.

So i dont bother buying any anymore

Fair enough - i try to added another option of other for the ones that i did not know or mention, but obviously co$ked up.

Thought it was a little be better than the which are the three best helmets though - of the really goody - 'who is the best racer of all time' you can't compare racers from different times really. - Think back to when Rossi was complaining about the safety at Laguna - would he of raced in the times of surtees and ago et al with the safety then?

Streetfighters here too! Thumbs Up I used to always get Performance Bikes years ago when the magazine was actually funny and interesting - then they changed their whole team and it got very boring and went downhill after that imo!
