hi all,just got moto-roma wasp,and yes it souds like one.is there any way to de-restricted it.it's a 50cc.and also scooter starts fine but cuts out when ideleing,but is ok in traffic and at lights.is it a scooter thing cold morings and wet weahter.many thanks,mark

so it only cuts out when you start it from cold? thats usual, let it warm up. As for de-restriction,i suppose it can be done...someone will tell you how, i dont know. lol

I doubt there's much you can do to a 50cc scooter to make it go faster.

As I've said in the past, be aware that modifying a 50cc moped so that it can exceed 30mph makes it, legally, a motorcycle, and no longer a moped.

Therefore, if you're 16, or riding on a moped licence, then you'll be riding the bike unlicenced and uninsured.

just making sure you're aware of the situation.

thanks, for replay,not so much that i want to go faster,just a bit quicker on the up take can get 35mph now,i think it,s just a bit sluggish,it's only 200 miles in 6months,i've done 70 miles in one week,could it be muck in carb.thanks
