I did hear he was a bit of a cnut, he never seems to laugh either which i find weird. Who did he play in the Office?

He didn't, I think he was the producer or something. And he's not a cnut, he's a legend. Buy the World of Karl Pilkington, it's the funniest book I've ever read. Though it's pretty much just transcripts of the PodCasts with a few drawings thrown in. Mr. Green
