I got the game yesterday and am absolutely naff but fancy playing it on Xbox live with someone. I don't go round bends so well but damn i'm good at high-siding! Laughing

Well the 360 isn't mine, it's my boyfriends (Craigt19), but i bought Moto Gp and he plays it too. He's very nice and lets me play whenever i want, and i'm so rubbish i'm no threat to him lol Very Happy

Corona, I got my copy off Ebay and it was a bargain! £28 brand new and sealed, and p&p was free! Dance!

Was playing the game this afternoon, then all of a sudden the console makes a horrible grinding noise like the disc has come loose and is spinning. Run over, eject the disc, and now it's got scratches over it and it wont play!!!!!!!

I didn't even have it a week and it's completely fucked!!! Mad

£28 down the shitter.... i am not a happy bunny Crying or Very sad

yup that was a bad design error by Microsoft, it'll do that when you turn the console from standing to flat too.

best thing to do, mod it and play copies lol, you lose nothing then

Mine is always laid flat.. and hasn't churned a disc yet.

Although, you might be best phoning microsoft.. and they'll replace it.

Microsoft wont replace my game Crying or Very sad

They said that the console simply doesn't do what i described, and that it can't scratch games. Except it did because i saw it do it and i have the fucked game to prove it Rolling Eyes

When i said the console was lead down the woman in customer services said "Oh you should always keep it upright!". When i asked why she said "Just because it's more stable and could cause problems lead down." Me, "you mean like chewing up my game?", Her "No i didn't say that". Yeah right.

All she could tell me to do was ask the retailer to replace it because it's not Microsoft's problem. Even if i had bought it from someone other than Ebay, they wouldn't take it back anyway because it's not their fault my console scratched a game they sold me?

That's odd.. on my first broken 360 it churned my pgr3 disc to shreds (Thus why i have it laid down horizontal now) and they replaced the game along with my console.

The woman i spoke to wasn't very helpful at all. When i asked her what they would do if i went back to the person i bought it from and they told me to get stuffed, she just said 'There's nothing we can do to help you. It's not our fault' Confused

This big scratch says it is your fault love!! The picture isn't very clear (It's difficult to take clear pictures of shiny objects! lol), but you can see the top and bottom of the scratch that runs all the way around the outside of the disc. I would never have been able to do that myself?!

So angry!! Mad

BTW, whoever said you can chip xbox360's is wrong.. there are NO modchips out right now for the xbox360 only firmware hacks and electronics to go with it - YEs you can copy games (with a load of hassle) but you cant bypass the microsoft security and run homebrew code yet and utilise the xbox360 fully.

Its a known probem Tash, the woman you spoke to was talking crap.

Normally they replace the game (if its a microsoft titile) otherwise they offer a replacement something like PGR or some bollocks like that.

But at least its a game to trade against a new one.

If I was closer you could send the disk to me and I'd repair it for you, but nooooooooo you have to live too far down south dont ya. Razz
