This is a very difficult question to answer. Different people get different responses at dealerships. To slate a dealer because of the way he responded to one person (who might or might not have been obnoxious) is unfair on the dealer. A better way of resolving this issue would be for you to find the bike you want to buy, and post the details here. That way, if someone knew of dishonest practices going on in the dealership in question, they could PM you and let you know.

Have heard loads of shocking stories about DK Motorcycles, wouldn't visit it out of principle.

Dk, Millenium, and Fazakerly scooter centre - avoid them.

There's only two places i'd trust - Mike white racing in Rainford, and TMW in prescott.

even the best places make mistakes

every time i have taken a bike to be fixed it has come back with another fault it didnt have before

maybe im just unlucky with the 4 places i have taken bikes to and the only other place near me that i havnt tried did something just as bad to a mates bike although they did try to make up for it which is something i guess

the thing that worries me is if bikes are coming back with faults i notice, what about the faults i dont notice ?

DMC are very good-if a little small. There the ones that col mentioned-scratched my rim fitting a tyre, but I got free wheel rim tape to cover it.

But, I wouldnt touch Streetbike again with a barge poll. Took them 2 months to get a new swingarm for my Marauder. When I bought it the swinger was bent, and had to ride a courtesoy scooter for an age.
