I want to know what films are must see's and why...

I like action, blood and gore and few special effects...but there must be a storyline, a start, middle, and end. Little if NO romance. Mr. Green

Just watched A History Of Violence.

Man that film is slow! Some nice little fight scenes but that's about it.

I'll try and think of something I'd actually recommend!

How about...

Collateral?

Man On Fire?

Last Samurai?

Jackie Brown?

Pulp Fiction? (Has a beginning, middle and end, just not in that order!)

TBH I could probably reel off most of my DVD collection for that criteria! Smile

download it free on torrenstspy

i grudge paying cinemas/dvd rentals especially when i have internet that gets me them free

most movies that have been out recently are quite poor

get a bit torrent downloader then search iso hunt or torrentspy or bittorrent

then burn the dvd format onto dvd using nero or a similar piece of software, free movies Smile

I absolutely, 100% recommend you go and see a film called Crank. It's still at the cinema.

So "Bloke" films then?

Lock Stock...

and...

The Business.

Two of the best Brit "Bloke" films. Wink

Loads of Violence, Fair bit of Gore, Plenty bad language.

the departed (still at cinema) is good, good story and unpredictable deaths too. 2 and a half hours though Shocked

Top acting from Jack Nickleson and Decaprio, Damon ain't bad for Damon.
however our boy Ray Winstone plays a yank and has one of the worst Bronx accents i've ever heard.
