what to do about idiots who park in front of your drive?

Hi guys and girls.
I need some advice, i live in hounslow across the road from a massive mosque and now face the problem of every other day or at least recently of people parking across our drive which stops us from getting our car in or out of our drive. now this is getting really irratating as if me or the girlfriend need to go anywhere we cant until the bastards move out of the way. i mentionede the mosque as it tends to be people that go to the mosque the main culprits.

im very tempted to stucck putting dings in the side of these cars as a warning not to do it.

can i ring up a ring up a traffice warden and get them to give them a ticket if they are blocking my drive or even better could i get someone to come and tow them away?

please advise as everyone in my house is about ready to shoot someone if we dont start doing anything as just telling them not to do it again just doesnt work coz the next time its someone different

while they are at prayer just remove a wheel and stick it on the bonnet.
50% will drive away with 3 wheels.
the rest will learn.
it may require some effort on your part.
bump the car into the middle of the road then call the police "you saw people trying to steal the car and now its blocking the road"
rub butter allong the wiper blades they will crash next time it rains.
expanding foam up the exhaust,will kill thier car a few seconds after start up(will require a tow away).
go into the mosque during prayers to ask whos car it is(make sure you keep your shoes on and if you can be eating pork at the same time all the better)

I had this with a persistant offender visiting his mum in the flats opposite,everytime i pulled him on it it was the same lame excuse "sorry mate i just nipped in to see my mum" anyway after the third time i said nothing and followed him to his house fortunatly for me he had a drive too so i parked my car across his drive,he got the point when he returned home from work

This is a problem near a few mosques that I know of.
I would suggest you go and see the main man in the mosque (If it were a church, I would be referring to the priest), and ask if they have a news letter or something that he could get a message to the worshippers, asking them to be more considerate to the local residents while parking their cars during festivals when mosque usage is high.

If that fails, strap a bomb to your chest and burst through the door while they are all praying and shout "Whoever parked in front of my drive, move your car!"

If we don't hear from you, I'll assume they didn't understand diplomacy.

afaik, if they are blocking you in, it's an offence, so call the police and get their cars towed.

If they are blocking you out, legally, you don't have much you can do.

I'd take the approach of asking the mosque to ask to send out a message, that is if you definitly know it is somewhere who is whorshipping there, if it happens on a Friday then the chances are it may well be.

get some road cones and put them in front of your drive way, if they still park there, then get some greese and smear a big dollop of it on the inside of there exhaust pipe. it wont get the car moved, but when they drive it and the exhausts heats up it starts smoking really badly. they will think there car is stuffed, and hopefully will waste lots of money on trying to get it fixed or a tradional potato in the exhaust pipe

I keep saying that I am going to get some stickers printed for such occasions as this, or indeed the fuckwit in Tesco car park who takes up 2 spaces. A friend of mine can make them on anti-vandal stickers which break up into tiny squares so they are a bitch to get off. Stick that in front of the drivers view and laugh as they can't remove it.

Get a decent trolley jack, and manoeuvre it out of the way enough to get out (leaving it very illegally parked in the road...) then call the police.

If you damage the car you will end up paying.

Have you tried a politely worded sign pointing out access required?
If you do any of the more .erm... imaginative things suggested you'll likely get done for crimianl damage so not ery sensible.

First off try speaking to the church leader. If the problem goes away cool if not next time they park across your drive

Walk in to it and shout MOVE YOUR F@!KING CAR BEFORE I MOVE IT FOR YOU.

Do this at the top of your voice so they defo hear you above all the singing or what ever.

If this then happens again repeat the above steps.

I have a similar thing at home but not from a church from so muppet neighbours. They built an extention over the drive so they had no rear access to their house SO they build a gate in there back fence and walked up and down my drive to get to the back of there house. B@stards they are. Anyway we let em for the past year to keep the peace and now they are moving thank fook. So i have put a fence up to block them in. But if they have visitors cause they have no drive they park half across mine thinking of they can get out. It gets right on my tits I tell you. So much so that i can stand at the window just wanting to kill them its so annoying cause we cant get out if we need too.

I swear one day I will buy a shit car and just drive past their one taking all the side off it.

Try cones too, rob some of them copper ones that says no parking.

None of us have a clue what goes on in a mosque. They could all be playing twister for all we know.

Anyway, the vaguely usefull thing I have to say is that a car can easily be pushed by a few people. But then someone beat me to that too.

My mum's favourite was washing up liquid all over the paint work, not sure what it does, but they never came back.
