Why is no one interested in buying my SV 650 which I have advertised on this site??

Am I being too greedy (Idon't think so, it's a lovley bike) or is it just the wrong time of year?

Any ideas.......?

I'm new to this site but i am not trying to advertise in this section. I would just like some information from people as to why I am having so much trouble trying to sell it. It has been advertised in the exchange and mart section since last week.

My apologises to very one who thinks that I am just using this section to advertise, I never saw it like that, I genuinely just want some help, sorry.

As sickpup said.

You're selling a shiny bike as winter approaches. So the magpie-like people aren't going to be so interested as it's not the time of year for selling bikes.

Sadly, that model being the last of the curveys doesn't actually really offer much over a bike three year's older - they'll both do exactly the same thing.

I'll be selling my SVs for quite a lot less than that in a while. Mine's got maybe an extra 8k miles, but for a lot less money makes sense to the people likely to be buying bikes for winter - those that want them to ride, not to feel good they've got a low miler or lots of shiny bits.

If you really want to sell; there's always ebay with no reserve.
If you keep it up or reduce the price, you might be lucky and find someone that is happy to pay more for what you are offering; but fairly unlikely.

Also try local free ads and the like.

It has also been advertised on Bike Trader and a couple of free advert sites, also local news agents etc.

What price seems a reasonable offer?
