I was brought up in a Roman Catholic environment, Catholic schools, mass every Sunday etc, and although I decided against organised religion during my teens, I'm still a little surprised to find it at the very bottom of the list Neutral

Now how can one have any likleyhood whatsoever of being a protestant, Quaker, christian scientist, mormon or Jehovas witness when one denies the existance of any form of higher being or force in the first question?

The quiz sucks.

If you click on UU (Your top one) you'll see it's more of a belief system than a religion - ie they dont tend to believe in a god etc.

None of your top 4 have a god, and the reason you score in others is coz the god bit is only a small part.... ie I have always thought of myself as an atheist, but a 'christian way of life' is a good one, so long as you drop the god and jesus bit Smile

no offence, I know what your trying to say but it gets my goat when you do something then some twat comes along and says oh, that was very christian of you?

who defined the chistian way? is it just good manners to not go around slicing the heads off all those who form a different oppinion than yourself?

is it not the ability to tollerate others that stops you doing pretty much the same thing if they have a different belief than yourself?

all this one true god bollocks gets my goat tbh.,
I just sence the irony of every day living when we live by the roman calendar which I believe was rather Pagan.

or summat like that Smile

It seems from clicking on that that it isn't a belief system at all. It is a catch-all for people who don't fit in any of the other categories. Might as well have called it 'other'.

Not really - If you were a total cunt, and treated people like shit, you wouldnt be UU. The questions sorta define you.

Well I actually know quite a few muslim people and respect certain aspects of their religion but as I am not entirely happy with any of the prescribed options I tend to follow my own personal religion.

Quote:
Unitarian Universalists (UUs) believe in complete but responsible freedom of speech, thought, belief, faith, and disposition. They believe that each person is free to search for his or her own personal truth on issues like the existence, nature, and meaning of life, deities, creation, and afterlife. UUs can come from any heritage, have any sexual orientation, and hold beliefs from other cultures and religions.

Concepts about deity are quite diverse among UUs. Some believe that there is no god; others believe in many gods. Some believe that God is everything. Some believe in a female God (Goddess), a passive God, or that god is found in nature. Some UUs reject the idea of deities and instead speak of "universal spirit" or "reverence of life". Unitarian Universalists believe that individuals should be supported by their community in their personal searches for truth about deity

wow it is so close to me its scary, to think an open mind in everything is religious Shocked the answer is 42 Wink
