Can anyone tell me if the numberplate mount on the 2000 R1 is molded to the undertray?

Looking at it it seems to be, but im not sure!

If not how do I remove it as the Haynes dont say.

it looks like it is part of the undertray, your going to have to do a bit of a fenderectomy

or buy a new under tray and get a little plate holder.
i would rather do the free method Very Happy
hope that helps

having a look through bikepics it looks like most people just chop the whole thing back, and put on the little numberplate holder, (im sure some people have money to throw at an under tray)
i think you should just cut it back like the pic above and just screw your plate to that. you wont see any of the plastic because of the plate any way.
or.. chop it all the way back and screw your plate holder to it,
up to you really.
but something has to be done, the original holders are massive Very Happy
