The Bikes Tax and tested till june next year and sounds very smooth. Been on mates bike and i know what the are like in terms of speed and cruising and weight But still a good tourer and the wife will only get on bikes with that seat

Not sure I would agree with Colin. The Triumph he pointed out has an oil leak that is likely to need a full engine rebuild to fix. Not surprising it is cheap.
Given that there is already a £900 bid on the 1990 one with 7 days to go I would expect the 1989 one to go up a bit.
And these are Ebay prices (often low).
The CBR1000 came out in 1987 from memory.

A friend of mine is selling one. It is a 30,000 miler (a 92' at that, that is what, under 3,000 miles a year?), mint nick apart from a scuff on the exhaust (from wheeling through a narrow gate into a garden) and right hand fairing (boot mark) and it looks
He wants 1,100, but would take a grand, i reckon it is well worth that.
Quite frankly, the one in the picture looks shit, i wouldn't touch it for £500, let alone £700
