Can depend on a lot of things (weight, leg length etc), so best if you just go and sit on it yourself Smile.

Oh and do make sure you're happy (and so was the previous owner, for that matter Confused) with the service intervals.

I'm about 5'6 i think and borrow a CRF250 on a fairly regular basis...i know it's a different bike but i thought be of some use and say i can sit on it fairly comfortably but getting on and off is a bitch!

Also own an XR400 which is higher than the CRF i think and we've ordered a lowering linkage to reduce the seat height by an 1"/1 and a half inches.

Surely there must be some kit to do the same for the YZF

Don't worry about it, most of the decent bikes tend to have an adjustable rear shock so you can drop the seat height by quite a bit, and also have soft suspension so they sink down when you swing a leg over them/get off the step ladders Wink

my inside leg is about 32" and although a 450 feels a bit tall, its only getting off which is a bit of a problem.

if just stopping, you can lean the bike over a bit so your foot is comfortably on the ground

thats on standard settings without anything being adjusted
