Did you manage to get it in the DT50 frame then?

I haven't tried yet! I won a RSX100 of ebay the other day for £76 (good cond.) and i am picking it up tomorrow.

I want to see how it will handles off-road, if it throws me off then i will do an engine transplant.

My main concern with the engine transplant is th exhaust and how i will route it to the top of the bike from the bottom of the bike.

Does anybody else have any information on big bore'ing these bikes?

I will post progress and pictures if i do the engine swap!

Cheers
Jake

That would probably be the piston and rod from the RXS125. Twisted Evil

Although I couldn't swear to it.

Is that the same as a RS125?

Yep, it uses the same rod and piston as an RS250 aswell, they're all interchangeable. Also don't forget to use the TS250 head on the RM250 to unlock some powerbands.

RXS125? I never knew such a thing even existed... it must have a different service manual to the RXS100 then.

Well lettuce know how you get on Jakey, I have a RXS100 and would be keen to know if it's a mod worth doing.

It's an RS125, but I knew where Sickpup was coming from Very Happy . Great bike but rare as hen's teeth these days.

I remember the RS125DX, I used to have one but there was also an RXS125 that they stopped making a year after the RXS100 was introduced but I can't remember if its the same engine.

A lad at work had an RXS125 when I was 18. I remember the badge on the side-plastics was in italics. It was a lot quicker than my A100.
