Following the theft in August, the insurance company paying out - settled at £4,500 - I've just ordered the new bike - a Silver Faired Fazer - so no suprises there! As the pannier turned up in the back of my wife's car, that saved a bit of money, It has a Meta alarm & the latest Tracker device - so if any scumbag decides to nick it there is a nine out of ten chance he will be caught! The premiums will be lower, which will be handy as I've probably blown any no claims discount I had!! Ready early next week, just in time for Winter!! Razz

Spend some more money on a big lock and then chain it to something solid, it's the best defence against theft.

Cheers everyone! Thumbs Up Piccys will be posted when I get it - proably next week! Marjay I had to get a Fazer - the only bike that I can reach the ground with due to short legs! Wink - it's got the best brakes in its class....handy for those rides round the North Circular.
