A mate had one of these but triked, straight through pipes it was pretty damn loud, but it was a bit of a shit box and headgasket went, then water pump and all sorts of other stuff, then it got stolen.. had it been a better looked after example it would probably have been nice, he was happy with it appart from the state it was in shame really..

Anyways, good to hear yer enjoying it Thumbs Up

Did you HPI it?

Been dropped on the right hand side.

Otherwise not bad, stick a 600 engine in it and they can be good fun.

Rear brake lever is bent. The whole mounting plate is rubber mounted on those so takes a fair bit of force to bend.

The bar end is held on by a piece of threaded stud thats sticks out of the handle bar and is welded inside the bar. No bar end as the stud has been cut off with and angle grinder due to bending after dropping.

Just thought I'd let you know that the brake lever isn't bent at all!
The mounting plate is actualy solid not rubber mounted.
The bar end is completly intact & hasn't been touched with a grinder. Its just a chrome end-cap thats missing!!!

This is a Steed which is an import model. Perhaps you have mistaken it for a Shadow??

The bike has a slight dent in the tank from a drop but thats the only visible damage.
The bike handles fine Thumbs Up Wink

How strange, all the VLX's I've seen have rubber mounted controls. Never seen a VTC so can't compare.

If you say its not dropped I believe you.
