I've got all i need now for my firework night on Saturday.

I wanted to have some hot snacks for the BBQ, i am struggling for ideas for easy things to make that people can just hold i guess.

So far im putting a receipe together for some large stuffed mushrooms.

Anyone made some tasty things like this before?

Jacket potatoes, pies etc. always go down a storm on a cold bonfire night.

Having a BBQ is great but anything that was quickly chucked in the oven and served piping hot will be gratefully received!

Yeah good point, the oven would save hassle i guess...

Jacket potato's are good idea, i was thinking maybe have 2 fillings cooking the oven and BBQ the potatos.
Say chilli con carne and something else.

Just get stuff that can be cooked with as little fuss as possible really, anything hot is good I guess and if there's a lot of people then something that doesn't need everyone carrying a plate makes life easier.

Currys, Chilli, Stew that kind of thing, that can be prepared earlier and just warmed up. Leaving you free to be the perfect host and enjoy the fireworks. Very Happy

Just get some paperplates.

Large mugs filled with hot soup. Does the job of keeping hands warm. Slice up some bread (french stick or whatever) for dunking in soup. Simple but effective Thumbs Up

You need things that will go on sticks.

Sausages are good. Corn cobs are good. Kebabs are good.

Hey guys...the night went well.

The potatos i was going to do didn't happen, it was far too much hassle. But everyone liked the stuffed mushrooms i did, actually i had one and they were lush!
