Thanks for all the advice.

Unfortunately things have gone from bad to worse. I joined the other forum to see if i could get anywhere that way. To begin with things seemed quite promising. There was a bloke there "powermod" who looked like he was sorting peoples orders out. He told me he would get the bike delivered asap, in fact he said the bike was at the warehouse and was just waiting to be sent out. Then all of a sudden the forum decided to drop POR saying it was all a scam and that the nice bloke "powermod" sorting peoples orders out was in fact adam mowafi one of the owners. The POR site now isn't working a statement on the site says " We are upgrading all our systems and the company is currently going under a new management restructure" The phone lines are unanswered and they are not replying to e-mails. There are all sorts of different things being said, but the one thing that appears quite clear is that we are not going to get the bike. Crying or Very sad

I have told my mum to ring the bank and try cancelling the cheque. Will let u know how this goes. I've now got one very upset little girl who now knows the bike that her nan bought her for her birthday isn't going to be turning up Sick

Can anyone recommend anywhere I might be able to get 1. She only young so I was looking for a little 50cc.

You could try these. https://stores.ebay.co.uk/theinternetbikeshop

As far as I know they are kosher, you either pay your price and get the bike delivered to you in a box or for a little bit more it is assembled, tested and made road-legal if applicable and delivered by your local affiliated bike shop. They have affiliates all over the UK so wherever you live it should get sorted.

HTH.

You'd be better off with an older japanese bike, something like a PW50, XR50 ect. Very solid and bulletproof, good resale value and you should have no trouble getting parts.
