hi all,
Just a quick one i suppose. My indicators randomly decided they no longer felt like working when i was riding the other. All my other electrics are working,
(apart from my brake like which gets stuck on every now and then however that is due to my brake lever spring that makes come on not returning to its normal position...wd40 it???)
Had problems with my indicator relay when bike went in for MOT could this be the source of my problems?

Suzuki Fr50 '81......its a honda c50 with a suzuki badge basically

Thanks

Guess the relay could be part of the problem. Have you checked all wires going into indicators and relay are all secure and not loose?

Could give all the contacts on the relay a clean, the relay itself may be fine just poor contact/continuiity.

Most electrical problems are due to either poor connections or corrosion, trace the entire indicator path and clean any connectors you find. If that doesn't cure it, try finding a spare flasher unit to test before you buy one.
