Totally agreed. He did the best job, he even stopped the burgler from escaping without a gun. If this was a police officer, he would use a gun to stop him. Every watchman would quit his job in case this watchman faces 8 years while the burgler faces 10 years. He kept "samurai spirit" enough to strike a person with the back of his axe.

This news wondered me what the best work of a watchman is.
Calling the police? Then this thief will come back again. The axe was wrong? Even a truncheon can be fatal weapon. No attacking at all? Safety camera is enough.
Employer of him shoud give him a bonus.
