Yes, had two pretty nasty car accidents. The one we had as a family, where a lorry crashed into our car as we sat in a layby...I ended up with a broken neck, broken wrist and a few broken fingers. Was in hospital with sandbags around my head and a neck brace for about 10 weeks. Noone else was injured.

The second accident, I was a passenger in my boyfriends car, we were driving about 50mph in a 6-mph, and as we headed through a slightly built up area, a girl drove her car across the road in front of us, panicked and stalled, there was no option but to smash into the side. I ended up with severe whiplash injuries & a jarred back from that. The other driver got a cut knee.

My mate was driving down the M6 at Birmingham in his car transporter when he was overtaken by another car transporter.
He suddenly realised that it looked familiar as the cars on it were identical to the ones that he had loaded earlier.

The penny dropped that it was his trailer.

Just as it hit the centre barrier and bounced straight back towards him.

Big mess followed.

Were you OK?

Thats blood from where a 3inch peice of bone punched out through my thigh and ended up on the floor, didn't have time to poop.

Still can't walk without crutches, only just able to drive a car, no chance with the bike yet. Crying or Very sad

I've been in far too many

not sure in what order they happened

In front passenger seat of mom's Audi 80 and a cyclist randomly turned across us when previosly he had been just cycling down the road... push bike was mangled we were all unharmed.

A lorry decided to change lane as we approached J3 or M6 Island, we were in the lane he wanted.. mom pipped to no avail. so she put her foot down to avoid the metal barrier + lorry, managed to almost get clear of the lorry, the cab cllipped us and sent us spinning into traffic going around the Island... fooking terrifying, I was still a JR school so under 11. Bit of whiplash.

Passenger in the back of an ex army Landy on a NSL lane, no belts in the back, sat on benches so side on to driver. We were on our way to Henley market with the chickens in little wicker cages. Pheasant ran out, driver swerved to avoid it, still hit it. we went up a kerb, front wnet in the air before coming back down on it's end, as it went onto it's end it spun a little, landed half on a hedge half in a field facing where we'd just come from. Chickens and feathers were everywhere, my friend who wa sin the front had headbutted the lil windscreen panel and cracked it, I was in the driver footwell (god knows how?) girl sat opposite me had been thrown clear of vehicle, and one girl was covere din chicken shit and tangled in the baskets. Driver was okay.
for some reason while all the other kids that were in the car were crying I was laughing... Confused. Really out the wind up me though and never got in a car with tha bloke ever again (neighbour to our farm)

Lots of shunts and rear enders while sat in Traffic

We own an L reg Audi 80 estate in Red, the only origional panel is the roof and the front left wing. it's been in 14 accidents and only covered 60000miles. The people who've hit it ''I didn't see you'' acused my mother of driving the car sideways into the front of their car as they pulled out of a petrol station into us.

Most recent one was 2 years ago, sat at a pedestrian crossing heard skidding, I (in the back on the left) turned around to see a crazy asian bloke waving his hands around as his blue fiesta rapidly approaches (still skidding). He was travelling well over the speed limit. Dad also saw/heard him coming and jammed the brakes on. So we didn't punt the car infront. The fiesta then reversed and took off up side roads, dad did the same. The fiesta was throwing steam from it's radiator up, dad couldn't see too well so the Fiesta driver must've been driving blind. We chased long enough to get the numberplate, model etc while I wa son my mobile to the Police. Eventually mom stopped screaming/swearing in the front and dad pulled up.

Police came around later, they'd been to the house where the car was registered and the owner denied being out in it and that's hed bought it like that.... we had to claim off our insurance and even though I'd had a good luck at the driver, the police would not let me identify him. ( I even drew what the guy looke dlike and gave it to them).

I'm currently on my second offroad car, I get them for free as MOT failures and rally them around the fields (it's great fun).
I managed to flip my metro as I did a hand brake turn approaching a hedge (trying to scare my passengers), the rear tyre came off and we dug in and we ended up upside down in a ditch next to probably the largest tree we've got on the farm... close call. none of us were hurt... the metro was sold to the scrap yard for £40 Laughing

I'm just as bad in my current car... obviosuly not learnt, got stuck around the back of the cattle yard a few weeks back, after a few minutes of struggling back and forth me and The allegro escaped.. the exhaust system didn't - car now sounds like a v8 Laughing

I also when I was young and driving one of the tractors drove it through a fence into a ditch because the clutch was too stiff to depress, dispite me leavering myself against the steering wheel. I had the thought to pull the 'pull to stop' knob after I was in the ditch and the tractor wa still trying to drive it's way out. Embarassed Laughing

I haven't passed my car test yet, I think I'm safer on a bike.

not been in a proper car crash, had a few bumps but nothing major. i have been in a train crash though. we hit a car on the tracks, the train came partly de-railed and 3 people died.
i was on my way to a first aid course and at the time i thought it was quite funny, with people running around panicking, but telling people not to panic. didnt realise it was as serious as it was though.

I was doing 70 along a twisty dual carriageway, going round a left hander over a slight crest, reached the exit and hit a huge patch of diesel left from some kids (mid-teens, apparently) who had crashed a stolen Ford Sierra moments before me. Car span a full 360 hitting the central reservation and ending up on the pavement - write off.
The police were chasing these kids through a field and an ambulance was already there so they checked me over and I waited for a recovery truck to pick me and the car up. The officers couldn't stop apologising to me as I was just unlucky with the timing, and the kids they were chasing had gotten away.
