Twat Cyclists!!

Now, I've got nothing against cyclists (Indeed I am one), however today we've seen one of the worst pea-soupers I 've seen in a long time.

So, what do I see on my way to work, lurking out of the mist like something from a B-Movie two twats riding two-abreast through Bristol City Centre without lights, reflective jackets or anything!!

TWATS! - Stop it! I really don't want to knock you off (I'd get hurt too).

It wasn't just those two though during my ride to work and back today (17 miles) I must've seen at least 20 cyclists with no lights on (or just a little flickering red jobbie with a half-flat battery).

Do these people have a death-wish or something?!

No, they probably just assume that because of all the street lights and by the way cars have headlights that people'll be able to see them. And from your post it would seem they were right.

Riding without lights is piss easy, urban areas have street lights, quiet roads you can see the headlights coming well in advance to make sure you're not going to get run over.

Not when visibilities down to 10 metres at 6.30 in the morning you can't!

Couldn't believe they were riding side-by-side. They were wearing helmets though so they can't be that simple!

Today was definitely a stupid day not to have lights - visibility much worse than on an average night.
