I have been looking around some more and decided it might be a good idea to move up slowly to the bigger bikes. What do tou lot think of something like this CBF250?

https://www.honda.co.uk/motorcycles/DispatcherServlet?hidActionDetail=viewproductdetail&hidAction=Lookup&hidProductID=71&hidSelectedProductCode=CBF250&hidProductName=CBF250&hidMSGID=10&hidMSGCode=TRADITIONAL&hidMSGName=Traditional&hidBannerPath=%2FmcStatic%2Fen%2Fpicture%2Fproduct%2FCBF250%2Fprd_main_Banner.jpg&hidHomePath=%2Fjsp%2FmsgTRADITIONALHome.jsp#focusHere

What other bikes are there out there with a similar style and power out put to this?

Does anyone have one of these and what do the think?

gonna have to pass your test before you get onto one of those, but if your doin that anyway there is no reason why you shouldnt get one. one thing tho - 250's dont like restriction, so dont do your cbt, then get one of these.

if you want some more experience before you do your test, get a practical 125, such as an ybr125, en125 or cg125. all have similar style as that 250.

If you want to buy new, the CBF500 is alot more bike for £600 more. In that market, I'm not really sure who Honda are aiming the CBF250 at. Saying that, I did have a pile of fun on my CB250RS, but I didn't spend £3,300 on it Smile

I am thinking of doing the test on the riding schools bike then going on to that. I wont have to restrict it cos it is under 33bhp anyway.
