Alright , I've seen a bazillion dodgy kung fu films , and a great deal of them feature a sort of killing move where , the assailant is dealt with by the anti hero , by grabbing his arms from behind and pushing them together sortof like with doggies pulling appart their front legs,

I'm thinking hmm does that actually do anything? , wrestling aside the rings o saturn (a very faked cheesy move) is identical.

though there are so wrestling moves that do work , like my cousin (like when we were 10-15 so its nothing too gay)when younger who used to use the figure four leg lock against me, at which I'd flip over and do it back to him. at which he'd flip .

So what dodgy kung fu/wrestling moves have you seen that you think that could never work? or are so dodgy? , Fist of the north start "popping punches" are iffy but thats anime and different.

yup, that move's real. There's a ju jitsu move on the brown belt syllabus that is supposed to dislocate both shoulders by locking the elbows and pulling the arms together.

Crippler Crossface works. A WWF move where you're lying face down & the opponent has all he's weight on you're back & arm around you're neck, not much you can do & hurts like hell.

The five point palm exploding heart technique! Laughing

Really only Kung Fu movies with wire work are really fake. Stuff like Bruce Lee and that are generally reasonably realistic because its the Kung Fu that makes the spectacle.

However thats not to say it would work in a real fight because a lot of it is overdone for the cameras.

I would say nearly all wrestling moves would be effective if done with intent rather than for show. Stuff like the sleeper hold works amasingly in real life, I've KO'ed an assailant with one in under five seconds. LOL, yet in WWF it never ever works! Or the person gets a goodminute out of it before they escape Laughing

If you try a lot of over the top kung fu moves you might be successful in messing them up so badly that your opponent might fall to the ground in a fit of laughter at the feeble attempts. Worth a try Thumbs Up

From what I've been taught the one inch punch is a aid to developing striking power from short distances, regardless of stance or positioning. Meaning even if your hand was a few inches from someones face you could still deliver a KO blow.

Its not that hard. You just need to learn to use all of the muscles for the movement at the same time.

I've inch-punched through a breakboard which I can barely punch through normally.

lol, the guy who teachs Dim Mak was exposed as a fake after he tried it on a bunch of UFC fighters. When it didn't work he tried to blag it as them being superior atheltes and he could affect their field or chi Laughing

If thats the case then your one inch punch is probably more of a push than a strike because theres no way you can generate more force from one inch away compared to a full swing punch.....basic body mechanics.
