Could somebody in Wakefield, who is a nice and friendly person, help me out?

I need a bike looking at and an indipendant opinion.

Cheers Smile

If you've won it in an Ebay auction then you don't need it looking at - you need it collecting. You won the auction to buy, not to view.

I know that Joe... I want someone to go get me some pictures of whatever damage it has before I go get it.

I don't take my test until the 17th either so I can't so anything with it just yet.

I just want to know what needs done to make it mint.

- The issue is, I called up my gf's stepdad, asked him if he knew anyone with a van to help me out.. I mentioned the words bike, and wakefield.. and he knew what bike it was.... he'd apparently already been and looked at it and wasn't all that impressed.

He doesn't reckon the mileage on it is original either... the wording "The speedo is in kms and is showing xx" soudns a bit iffy too.

But still I love it Smile

It's only a grand. As long as the numbers match and it rides nice it will be fine. There will be some small hidden gremlins and a few jobs that need doing but there are on most bikes. Mileage means nothing especially on import bikes, they are too easy to clock and it probably has been. As long as the engine sounds sweet and starts fine from cold it's all good.

I'm only few miles away so if you are definately buying it and not just messing the seller around, arrange it with the seller and give me the details and i'll nip across and have a look.
