I'm not 'insulting your honesty' just commenting on your greed (and not for the first time).

I don't think it's any coincidence that grips and muffs are being retailed for £30 by one major company and 'very similar' items are being retailed for exactly twice the amount by you.

All factual.

You'd be better off being offended by the inference that you resell goods from lidls (unless that is factual).

Except its not factual is it.

The grips are very different from the control box, 2 position switch compared to a dial adjust to the grips themselves. I have both types sitting here but wouldn't fit the cheaper type to my bike, work out why.

As to the past, offering someone a CD250 engine fully running with new oil, spark plugs and a warranty for what was it £100-£120 was ripping them off or maybe charging to run every test on a GSXR750 to see how much damage an owner had done to it was ripping them off.

So wheres it factual?

Hey Sickpup,

It's not my fault you've been rumbled..is it ?

I'll take the MPS heated grips over yours - because - if they go wrong, I can return them.

I could hardly return them to you, could I ?

Apart from your obvious greed you don't have a great attitude either.

Anyway, factual means that I stated facts, which I did.

The Muffs look as good as yours (if not better) and the grips have a full warranty and I have no reason to believe that they are in any way inferior.

Hotdog.

You've never seen either muff in person.

I've been in business for myself for 11 years so far and always warranted my work and anything I sell.

Still waiting for you to bring it on old man. Could be a long wait I bet.

You haven't seen both muffs either.

The Muffs are ballistic type nylon outer, insulated with a nylon inner and so far I've found them water proof. These are not the fur lined cheap ones you find on Ebay that absorb water.

vs.

These deluxe lined muffs keep the cold from your hands. Made from tough waterproof PVC coated nylon with Scotch reflective material for safety.

Sounds pretty similar to me.

And seeing as how they are 1/2 the price with a proper warranty - it's still a no-brainer.

This could potentially be the greatest bcf flame battle there's ever been. Hopefully Siggi will come along soon and pick a fight with both sickpup and hotdog.

Popcorn at the ready! Thumbs Up

Well..come on...

sickpup is selling some cheap muffs he picked up at £25 + postage.

MPS (with all their buying power) are selling BRANDED Tech7 Muffs for £29.99.

Is anyone going to really believe that sickpup's unbranded cheapies are superior ????

Are they who you buy your grips and muffs from before adding a 100% + additional markup ?

I know that a switch is more reliable than a potentiometer.

And I know which is safer and more efficient fitted to a motorcycle as a temperature control for heated grips (here's a clue - the variable resistor comes second).

BMW use a double throw switch on ALL their heated grips - because it is better.

Having used Tech7 muffs in the past, I wouldn't touch them again. Wore out quickly, bastard to fit tidily (had endless trouble with them blowing back onto the levers at high speed as there was no way to securely fit them) and had alot of trouble with my heavy gloves getting caught in the stiffened "cuff". Lasted me maybe 2 months of daily use while on the circuit before starting to let the rain pool in the front and becoming utterly (well, even more than they had been) useless.

No way in hell I'd trust the heated grips if they're the same brand.

I don't know you either but the tech 7 stuff is cheaper and will do the same (keep wind off me knuckles and rain off gloves)

MPS are also trying to pull a fast one, unless you look for the muffs with the heated grip sthey also have the items seperate for a fair amount more.

drop it you two! Evil or Very Mad
