i've said this before in another post but,
one of the girls where i work had more than just the wobbles on her CBT, she actually managed to crash her (not even) 1day old marauder. Straight road, comes up to a left hand bend, "i saw some gravel on the side of the road...i shit myself... the instructor was telling me to get off the brakes going round the corner (break before you get to the corner, fine, mid corner, not such a good idea)...i didn't listen to him..."
She binned it. She recons she was doing 50.
How can you pass your CBT when you binned your bike in front of the instructor?

I had never riden a motorbike before and withn 20 minutes of riding I had hit a curb and smacked my nuts on the tank. Luckily it was in a carpark but I still let out a string of swear words that would have made would have made Bernard Manning blush.

When I was doing my DAS there was a lady who constantly dropped "her" 'ped (not sure if it was hers or the school's), but it was funny to keep hearing the crashes when you were sat down having lunch. Razz

When I did my first CBT (when I was 16) a woman there, who had never ridden a bike before that day, managed a wheelie....straight into the back of another pupil.
Was quite amusing to see her negotiate some cones while not looking forward (actually watching the cones instead). As she looked up and saw a stationary bike a few metres instead she panicked and instead of braking she fully opened the throttle and dropped the clutch. Bike jerked forward, front wheel up, feet dragging the floor straight into the stationary guy in front of her. Laughing

No one was hurt and it gave everyone something to laugh about all day. (Apart from the woman who needed some time to calm down and stop crying.) She went on a second week and possibly a third but she did pass eventually.

My instructor got pissed off with me cos I couldn't get the hill start sorted. After a while she explained it a different way and I got it straight away! If she'd explained it that way in the first place it would of saved loads of time!

I dropped the SR on my CBT while trying to park it. It had to go on the centre stand and with a funny camber on the road and not being used to it... DOH.

Instructor thought it was rather funny, just picked up whatever I snapped off, threw it in the hedge and gave us a quick lesson in how to pick bikes up. Top man.

There was also the comedy of this cocky little 16 year old on his ped who'd been 'giving it large' all morning, then just about shit himself when we went out in traffic. Mouthy little sod Twisted Evil

Nice. I'm guessing it was nothing important then, like a brake lever.

i only used the front brake while coming to a stop when the instructor told me to pull over while out on the road....my poor nuts Sad
there was this one woman in her 30's who when going round the 4 cones layed out in a square would stall (slow speeds innit Smile) and she always tried to pull away in 2nd gear aswell. out on the road the instructor put me out in front with him in the middle and her behind, dunno what she was doing but she kept lagging behind and a few times we had to wait by the side of the road because she musta stalled some way back behind us. Cut into our training time which i werent thrilled about cos i needed help aswell Sad

I was just a bit wobbly on my U-turn, was WAY too used to a pushbike where you usually wobble about on the u-turns, and taking one at a higher speed confused the bejezus out of me for some unknown reason.

Well i'd being riding my bike for 2 weeks before I did my cbt so I didn't have much of a problem really but my mate had being riding his 125 scooter for about 3 months when he did his (same time as me) so he stalled his cg at every opportunity funniest one was on a bank and I had to pull over all I could hear was "now put the back brake, no don't get off! It was so much fun!
