Hey all

Just found out today I may be regularly clipping peoples cars without realising! My Yam SR125 has sticky-outy indicators on stalks and it seems when I'm filtering and pulling in front of stationary traffic I'm clipping them.

I found out due to having done this to someone I work with by accident on the way home last night, they came in this morning and told me!

Anyone else found they were doing something similar?

i would like to think that i could feel any kind of impact like that while riding my bike.

go a little faster say 50mph and then see if you notice anything Laughing

infact if you take your lid off while riding you could even hear the impact Rolling Eyes

Surely your indicators don't stick out more than your legs, arms, mirrors?

They do just about actually, but also they are just the right height to catch bonnets as you round them... apparently!

I'll be using a larger personal space in future!!

No you would allmost definatly feel anything like that, even if it just rubbed you would feel a sort of resistance, and indicators id be suprised if you didnt end up rubbing you leg up someones car or mirrors etc before your indicators hit it.

They are deffo taking the piss, my brother had a Y-SR125 before and the indicators don't stick out that far... Confused

Simple way to find out is check if there are marks on the indicators, as the lightest of touches would leave a rub mark on them.

You must be pretty close to cars to even get near to clipping them. Worth leaving more room at the side of you. Wink
