Has you may know I recently crashed my bike. I have however, got the girl running. What I found however, was after stripping it down and fixing it, I couldn’t get the dam lever straight (See picture)

What I have tried to do is, put the foot peddle in the oven for a while and try to bend it into shape. Looking at the picture it seems that the lever is straight and that the bracket where the foot beg goes is bent. Do any of you have any suggestions on how to get from hitting the rear set?

Blow torch is a good idea but being aluminium it will melt very easily. There is a very easy way round not melting it, all you have to do is get a bar of soap and coat the surface with it. Heat it gently and you will see the soap start to go black, it will do this about 5 degrees before the melting point of the aluminium so you can bend it back without damaging anything else.
