well about four hours ago at about two oclock in the morning I couldnt sleep so i thought id go shopping at 24 hour tescos! Very Happy
You know....like people do!!! Well i was on the way into the tesco carpark and..........pssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss!!!!!!! i slammed on the brakes and got off the bike, well there wos a fecking great nail sticking out of my tire....Bugger!!! so i phoned the AA and went to wait in the store only to find that it was closed...shit its sunday.....Bugger!!! so i waited about an hour until the aa came and he looked at the bike..."youve got a puncture mate" he said,
Well no shit,einstein!! Laughing so he took me home and here i am still cant sleep and i was just wondering what i can do to prevent punctures..ive heard about that green stuff but does that work

While I generally don't have much 'respect' for scooters per-sae, plenty of the people did start on scooters and some still have them. As it's a general bike related question, I don't see a problem in it, if it was a scooter question, then it would probably make more sense to ask in scooter forums just because they are more likely to know the answers Smile

Buy some slime for the tire. it can stop most small leaks straight away.
I got a nail in mine the other day. Took it out and it had a really slow puncture. Feckin Avon's can't be repaired ither. So bought some Flat-Mate stuff and it seems to be fine now Very Happy

i tried slime and it wasn't great, ultra seal is supposed to be the best and your tyres wear slower with it because it disperses heat better than air.
