I've just noticed that my MOT and Tax ran out last week. You need to have the MOT before you can get the tax disk but I presume you don't need the tax disk to get the MOT?

You are correct.

MOT then tax.

To be legal you should have a pre-arranged MOT appointment, and just ride straight there from home, get the MOT, and if you fail it just ride the bike straight home.

Cheers Robby. Smile

So the fact that I am at work and have just booked an MOT for Wednesday morning means that I should not ride my bike till Wednesday morning when I ride it to the garage for the MOT?

Bah! Mad

You usually get 14 days 'grace period' i believe when your mot/tax expires. May be worth getting the garage to print or write you out a quick appointment slip for your MOT and carry that on you incase you get a tug from the boys in blue.
