Driving in the car last night and guess what its been gritted.

Still on the bike though, got up early this morning and covered all exposed bits with some grease.

We've now got an outdoor hose at work, so washed it down when I got here. (well left it 30 mins to cool down first).

I just remember the rust on the screws and exposed parts.

I need to keep up with it on a daily basis.

I've ridden since March this year, but i'll be stopping soon.

If I can manage just Dec,Jan & Feb in car i'll be happy.

Kit is getting ridiculous at the moment though. Good job i've heated grips too.

Yeah, I'veonly started driving the car this year (about a month ago), after crashing the bike... Looks like I'll be in the car all winter now too.

Tis a ballix keeping a bike in good nick during the winter if you don't have a winter hack or car.

I know everyone says it... But Scottoiler FS 365 is the only way to protect your bike. Razz

What heated grips are you using? I had the Motrax ones on my Fazer last winter, they weren't great.

As of two days ago, the annual November slime has started. Thumbs Down Not the time to get a new front tyre, never having ridden this bike without a square front tyre. Shocked

Noticed the salt on the road the other day, just before I spun the rear wheel without trying. Its a sad sad day when you realise that winter is that far upon us! Crying or Very sad

Oxford overgrips, didn't know which to get at the NEC (different thickness 7/8" or 1" or somet, didn't have a clue, so just got the overgrips).

To be honest found them weird for a few days, but now i'm totaly fine with them.

It also means I don't have to wear my winter gloves and I can wear my autumn gloves.
