It this legal?

Bike A (bigger CC) with a trailer hooked to the back of it , on the trailer is another bike placed in such a way that it does not exceed the 1 sq metre rule for bike trailers , ie maybe semi disassembled , ie frnt and rear wheel tied to the sides, front yokes + forks removed and rear subframe also removed.

I've always been iffy about buying bikes for various reasons being , that I find it incredibly flexible to have one bike and all my worldly possessions fitting onto one bike. This enables me to move to a new city in a matter of hours something I used to have to do all the time

as I jumped from job to job to get experience chalking it up, now I have this experience such epic travelling is probably over, but I still think of the old days of travelling about , as there were some good times bad times and some great times.

Any thoughts?

(yeah I know I could go buy a 3.5 tonne but those require parking spaces = parking permits = less flexibility).

The maximum permitted width of a trailer towed behind a motorcycle in the UK is 100cm.

The maximum all up loaded weight of a trailer must not be greater than 150 KG or two thirds of the towing bikes unladen weight.

The maximum speed permitted whilst towing is 60 mph. All the trailers we sell have been tested to much higher speeds.

Trailers must display full lighting at the rear, i.e. indicators, brake and marker lights.

From https://www.f2motorcycles.ltd.uk/trailers.html

You'll probably have a problem with the 150kg/two thirds of the towing bike weight restriction.

Trailer Law and Safety

The maximum all up loaded weight of a trailer must not be greater than 150 KG or two thirds of the towing bikes unladen weight.

Loading a trailer affects how stable it is. Always load heavy items near the bottom over the wheels and try to get the hitch weight between
15 kg and 20 kg. Basically, there needs to be more weight at the front than at the back.

Try to load the heaviest items directly over the axle.

Adding weight to any motorcycle either in panniers or in a trailer will increase the stopping distance, so allow extra room when braking.

Learner riders CAN NOT tow a trailer in the UK. A full motorcycle licence is required to do so.

So yes and know, depends really...

Bolt it onto the side of your bike with the front wheel removed and call it a sidecar...
