A nice lil video of a 2006 Ninja 250R in america.

Do we have an equivelant over here in the uk? Get to 4:20 as he pulls onto the freeway and it's fucking wicked, the noise is fabulous.

I didn't know ZZR250 is called Ninja250R overthere.
ZZR250 is the only faired bike in 250cc class also in japan, and remain a long-selling bike(debut in 1990).
I felt his riding style has very good manners and safety.
Looks very good acceleration for 250cc. I sometimes ride with ZZR250 rider, he actually come along with me even at 140km/h pace.

I though that it was a GPZ 250 here? ZZR250's are just a miniature version of the ZZR 400/600 with twin pipes and a square box rear light.

Mate, if you think the noise on the freeway is fabulous. Try letting me past on MY ZXR250 (which is the "real" ninja) and you'll hear a nice banshee wail in sync with a rasping overture that you probably won't hear on most bikes Thumbs Up Laughing . Not very many bikes spend their motorway journeys at 14k rpm and stay there now do they?

I use to have a zzr250, man was so fun with a 19k redline! I use to scream through the gears, blew it up, repaired it and sold it before I blew it up again.

It sounds very nice at the bit you mention. Almost sounds like it's turbo'd.

Some where, there was quite a market for turbo kits for the 250's in japan. Shocked
