Where do you live in Scotland? Are you going to go for your full licence? Whatever you do, have fun and be careful, the roads are pretty slippery at the moment, with all the salt, water and trucks spilling diesel everywhere Thumbs Up Mr. Green

Hi,
The more you ride the more your confidence will grow. Just don't push more than feels safe to you.

Hello mate. Crap web site (sorry). Yeah be careful we do not want you on the "offs" list. I am sure everybody will go with a group hug to welcome you. Do be careful the roads are rubbish at the moment and there is more oil to come out.

It is not a race.

The one thing I worry about slightly is whether or not it is safe - I find it quite difficult to judge maximum safe corner speed sometimes, although as I live in Scotland the roads are quite empty most of the time.

The general thing is to increase your speed gradually and you should find the limits of yourself and the bike before you go way past them!

Welcome to BCF!

Just remember, it’s not a race, so take it easy and build up your confidence slowly.
One thing us bikers have found is that often damp conditions are more dangerous than heavy rain, so watch that.

they key is, to brake before the corner, and accelerate through it

braking during the corner is best avoided, and a bad habit that can result in losing control in slippy conditions

glad u are having fun ! Thumbs Up
