Transfers/stickers

Recently got myself a '95 CBR600F and the rear tail transfer is only half there.

What is the best method of removing this?

Also can a new transfer be obtained, presumably from Honda? Any idea of a cost and how easy are they to properly apply?

Official stickers can be EXPENSIVE.

Best bet would be to get someone to make you up a replica from cut vinyl.

To get that one off, do it carefully using a hair dryer to melt the glue. Do it slowly and carefully.

Petrol removes the sticky crap left after it aswell.

If it's Laquered over then you will have a problem peeling it off.
If already peeled then warm it with a hair dryer as you peel.
It softens the adhesive and the transfer which sometimes gets brittle.
Clean up the panel with a light rub with T-cut. Do not polish if you intend using new stickers. Polish normaly has silicone/wax in it which all glue hates.
And....
I looked at those Lazer decals for my T/cat a while back.
But they look shit. Like poor counterfit nine pound notes.
The real dealer ones cost a lot more but the look mouchos betteros. IMO

Another good way of removing sticky residue is with WD-40, but will need to give it a thorough clean to remove the oily film left by the WD-40.

I'd suggest that you get original decals as non-original ones can lead to potential buyers asking lots of questions about accidents. However the original ones can be expensive (as in £50 or more each), so if it's an older 'bike it's probably not worth it.
