I am picking one up on Saturday it is a 93 K Plate and i am not sure which version it is - does anyone know how to tell the difference??
I understand that the e1 came in in 93 but i dont know how to tell them apart???

Easiest way is to look at the passenger footpeg brackets - if made from black tube it's a D, if alloy it's an E. Also frames are different, fairings different etc.

Hi

The very latest ZZR600 is not sold in the UK, and is basically a rebadged ZX6R (the blue one shown above).

There loads of differences between the D model and E model ZZR600s. Larger wheel spindles on the E (so the wheels are not interchangable). 2 annoying flashing low fuel warning lights on the D. Smaller brake caliper pistons on the D. Lots of minor differences in the bodywork. Ram air on the E. Etc.

Well mine, the green and white and blue one, (it will be tomorrow) is a k reg with 14k on the clock and am getting it for a very reasonable £800 with 6 months tax and mot. I think that is a pretty good deal!! can't wait to get it in my grubby little paws tomorrow morning!! Although can't ride ot for 2 weeks until test is done - fingers crossed i pass!!!!
