Hi Ive got my theory test tomorow, i have a revision cd, but it has nothing about motorcycle stopping distances or different road signs on, could anyone please help!!!!!!!! Question Question

20mph = 12 metres (40 feet)
30mph = 23 metres (75 feet)
40mph = 36 metres (120 feet)
50mph = 53 metres (175 feet)
60mph = 73 metres (240 feet)
70mph = 96 metres (315 feet)

The government highway code pages seem to suggest that you use the car braking distances as when you look at the motorcycle specific pages it has a link taking you to this pagehttps://www.highwaycode.gov.uk/09.shtml#105

On a related note, I passed my cage theory test today. 35/35 on the questions and 69/75 on the hazards. \o/

That's the biggest heap of bollox i have seen in my life.

I just found out the other day they added that gay hazards part to the theory, there was no such thing when i sat my theory for car license... Sad

Anyway, what are the hazards that commonly come up on these things?

Zepf, its just stuff like cars looking to pull out, people walking out between parked cars, cars looking to turn, narrow bridges etc. General "everyday" hazards you meet on the road really

In one clip the Village People appear at a zebra crossing and you have to click them as a gay hazard.

That is, in sequence, speed in mph x 2 = distance in feet, then 2.5, then 3, then 3.5, then 4 and then 4.5

That way you can work it out rather than trying to remember the exact figures.

Passed 31/35 on theory, 53/75 on hazard perception, thanks for all the replies.

Though it didn't ask me about and stopping distances or road signs Confused .

Apex Motorcycle Training quoted me £100 for training and test.

I'm after an SRAD 600, what do you think the insurance will be like?.

Considering the test is about £40 that is only 2-3 hours training. Do you think that is all you'll need?

In regards to the insurance how old are you? And what the area its going to be in like? And what cover? Any NCB or claims?

The DSA test fee is £48 so your getting about 2 hours training and a test for your £100 Smile

I'm 17 have a 600 quid claim and have 3 points for not displaying L Plates Confused . I live in kirkby mallory near Leicester.
