Ended up looking at some stuff for my zee, its all too expensive but if i had the money i could really make it special.

Rules - Must be available to make or buy and the total cost can't be more than half the value of your bike Razz (otherwise get off your arse and do it.)

I would Have on top of what i have to date;
Arrow A sexy integrated undertail $320 Drooling
Arrow Laser xtreme high quad exhaust £450
Arrow Black headlight film(if it was legal)
Arrow Black screen

Have fun

I'm not really inclined towards changing my bikes, however if I had the spare cash I would buy the carbon kit (£500ish) and the full titanium exhaust kit (£1800) for my Tornado.

Ohlins all round. Power commander.

Thats about it. Cosmetically I'm happy with the ZX6R as it is and the NC30 is getting a full makeover anyway, the only thing of which I can't afford would be a pair of lightlweight wheels. The rest I am scrimping together over the winter.

I spend the 'half the value' on nice kit for me instead (after yesterdays ride-out, some seriously warm kit). Never really understoood customisation, apart from true performance upgrades.

I've already bought all the stuff I want for my bike.

Lowered primary gearing

double bubble screen

R and G mushrooms

Spring loaded belt tensioner

modified clutch ramp (to reduce clutch effort)

I'm still waiting to fit the gearing and the clutch ramp, but it won't be long now! Smile

I'd replace the wheels, engine, frame, bodywork, suspension, exhaust...

Can't I just swap it for something else? Razz

I'd replace the forks and rear shock, custom exhaust, complete new seat unit.

Something tells me all of that is more than £600 though Laughing

Looking at my ZX6R, then i would like a dark tinted screen, and a decent quality aftermarket rear shock and some suspension set up work. I could afford to do all the above if i was going to keep the bike, but having ridden it 3 times in 18months, then it's very unlikely that i will!

For my KMX200, im planning on spending at least double the market value of a decent one, (£850 ish), as i want to re-build it from it current tatty state, with virtually all new parts, a tuned motor, nice paint job, better brakes, and a set of supermoto wheels etc.

Glad you haven't asked this question about cars though, as id ideally like to spend several times over the value of my next car on parts, modifications, and improvements.

On the RS...

Customize the cosmetics black/white instead of black/white/red/blue.

Dark tint DB screen.

JL Stainless System.

Wheels sprayed white.

Big Bore Kit.

Tail tidy.

You can tell I haven't done much to the bike but that is what is coming up all being well Laughing Shocked

I'd fit factory race suspension and a dry clutch as well as as much of the race kit as I could get my grubby little hands on. Oh I've already done it. Very Happy

1400cc big bore kit, Hagon custom rear shocks, Maxton fork rebuild, stainless Predator pipe. That lot would bre more than the half value mark, but not by a huge amount, and my bike is 30 years olds, so its value is pretty low (£2500 ish).

On my Z750 i should be getting some stuff off www.rhencullen.co.uk (not a plug i just like the stuff on the site). Its got some nice stuff for the Z750 and other bikes, i love the halogen light belly pan, quite expensive though... hopefully Dad will feel guilty and buy me it considering i got shower gel for my birthday! Mr. Green Thumbs Up heres to hoping!

Well I've done all the mods to my bike that was needed to get it working 'as it should' (see my sig). In the future I'd like improved suspension all round and a pair of lightweight wheels.

In reality, these won't ever be fitted as the money would be spent on track time making me far better than any mods will Thumbs Up

If i were inclined to throw a lot of money on my ZXR250 which is all pointless,

i'd

Arrow Get a reworked rear suspension - Hagon fully adjustables
Arrow HID Lights, because i do a lot of night/evening riding. 6000K colour temp is really nice and bright.
Arrow A double bubble screen
Arrow Crash mushrooms
Arrow Uprated 4 piston tokico's or brembos.

It'll cost me about 800 quid in all, which is pointless, because it's nearly the value of the bike.

I wouldn't change my bike at all (xcept for maybe an exhaust and some very sticky tyres)

Beyond that, any more money spent on bikes would be on buying more bikes!!

Oldies like the RC45, a new VFR, a banging blue R1, a movistar CBR 600RR, and last but not least.....

a Ducati 1098!!!!
