got my theory on the 6 dec then going to book my test (car), been looking around at the little 1.1's and 1.2's. does anyone know where i can get a list of the car models and what insurance group they go into so i can see whats best to get. just want a cheap run a round really money go on my bike as cars are shite Very Happy .

the pug 106 seem to be the cheapest to pick up and mayeb insure?

There you go, you may be suprised that some 1.8s are the same group as 1.1s lol. The two cheapest cars perosnally are astras and 306 . . . . . https://www.parkers.co.uk/insurance/

Diesel, 5 door and being family oriented will all contribute to low insurance aswell as the cars group.

I avoided the 'typical' young person small cars and actually paid less on a 1.9TD 5 door family saloon than I would have on a 1.2 clio or similar, and for the money had a better, faster, more reliable car.

More so.. I had hydraulic adjustable suspension. Up and Down, innit. Proper bling!

www.parkers.co.uk is usually helpful. I found a fiat chinquento or whatever it is and fit panda to be cheapest insurance wise.

EDIT: FIAT panda, not a FIT panda as that would be highly amusing but a little dangerous.
