Hi all...

My bike is not even running, will be getting rid, but just came back to find a car where my bike was parked this morning, with the bike behind it, on the muddy grass, it doesent look as if it has been dropped... but i was outranged...

I immediately let down his tires, and i am now sitting here with a can of Nitro-Mors contemplating weather to write cunt in big letters across the bonnet...

If i had the time i would wait around to see who it was and have words...

What would you do in my situation? is the paintstripper too far?

Take something off your bike and wait arround to have him for criminal damage..

Or get the bigest locks you can find and put them on his wheels

Ermmm, where is this, outside your work, your house, etc?

With four flat tyres I doubt he's going anywhere in a hury so if doing anything to the car doing it overnight would be a better time I'd say. However wedging nails next to each tyre in a such a way that when the car moves foward, all the tyres get punctured is a more effect way of letting someone's tyres down mainly cos they can't just pump them back up again. get some friends and "bounce" the car out of the space and onto the mud.

Then leave a note : "We moved your car because you seem to feel it is appropriate and acceptable to do this to other peoples property. As someone obviously not trained to handle a motorcycle you are criminally liable for any damage you have caused because you were too lazy to find another parking space. If any vehicles are moved against their owners permission or damaged in future then you will be receiving a visit from the police."

Smile

I'd have probably done the same as you've done, let the tyres down. I think the paint stripper might be going too far, depending what damage he's done to your bike!

Has it been stood there a long time? The driver may have seen your bike stood in the same spot for weeks looking old and fucked, and realised it was a no goer and got fed up when no other parking spaces were available!
Not that I'm saying he was in the right... personally I would have done a walk by with key in the hand! Twisted Evil

I'm almost paranoid about anyone touching my bike at the best of times, irrespective of how old or what condition it's in.
It's your property and this person has no right to touch or move it. I think I'd have "accidentally spilled" a couple of nails or screws near the inside wall of his tyres if that was me

it's bad enough when they flick the brake levers on my mountain bike (all the smokers stand in the bike shed here when it rains) and I'd be seriously pissed if they started doing it to the ZZR. Hell, I even get mildly angry when they "check the bike out" by standing close and looking at it too much.. :0.

Still, That's what shock sensor alarms are for. one flick of the lever nd they get a warning. one move of the bike and the alarm goes off.

make sure the bike is locked through the front or rear wheel and let's see him try and move it. He'd have to physically pick it up or more likely drop it, and then it's a criminal damage charge...

Wink

Well, at least you got some revenge. Better than none at all. Laughing

He will probably notice the flat rears and pull over thinking "who the fuck done that then?!". Then he will realize his mistake in moving your bike.

If he is stupid enough to do it again, then use a combination of your Nitro-Mors idea and ZRX61's idea. Or if you catch him in person, then have a word with him about it.

Yep, you should have waited, then as he left, followed him, calling the police saying he's driving dangerously, weaving all over the place. Quick inspection would have shown the flat tyres, i.e., driving a non-roadworthy car.

In these cases, though, it's best not to overreact, as he knows where you park your bike, and bikes are only too vulnerable for damage.

letting someones tyres down is mildly annoying especialy if the driver is a lazy f@ck who has a 12v compressor for reinflating, you could just whizz the valves out of the tyres with a valve key then when the tyres are reinflated they go flat again immediatley, but tyre valves are cheap enough, thats why snipping off all of the valves isnt really going to hit em hard in the pocket either, best thing is a knife through the sidewall because the sidewall cant be repaired so the whole tyre has to be replaced
not that i would even think of doing any of the above cos there all a bit naughty
oh and on the subject of bouncing a car out of the way why not get your mates to roll it over instead much more satisfying Twisted Evil

Erm, so when you have a nicer bike, he won't bother to move it before he parks there next time?

Personally, I don't think I would be that bothered. A bit pissed off, yes.
Enough to do something that could cause an accident, no.

Also, it seems he highlighted that you could probably do with a bit better security on your bike Smile.
