Anyone got any, and how did you get em?

I have 4. I got caught doing just over 100mph on the M3 right by the M25 turn off. Lovely sunny day and very few cars on the road. I don't know how they did it because I thought I was paying attention to what was around me but they sneaked up behind and flashed their blue lights.

Luckily the copper was a biker himself and pegged me down to 99 in a 70 zone so I escaped the automatic ban that you usually get for going faster than 100mph. Even so the court took a dim view of things and whacked me for 4 points and a £200 fine. Could of been a lot worse I suppose. I got off lightly really.

Since then I've slowed right down. I need my bike to commute into London and I can't afford to lose my licence.

A bloke at a bike shop recently told me that you get 3 points and a small fine for not having them back AND front

it's actually 3 points for each L-Plate you are not displaying correctly.. so no L-plates at all could get you 6 points!
also did you know if you get more than 12 points within 2 years of passing your test not only do you get banned but you have to re-take your test again too!!

My mate got 3 points and a £60 fine, ahhhhh unlucky mr. mito!!!! He was doin 82 in a 60!!!!

I woz with him and asked if the cop wanted to see me aswel, he replied did I point to you, I said no, he said well go away then!!! Fuck you then you PIG!!!!!

Im just ded lucky, 18 months of speeding everywhere, most of em with only 1 l plate and the last 6 without any and Ive not been pulled yet!
Oh, and my speedo hasnt worked for about 8 months either!

i thought if you get 6 points within the first 6 months you're banned for a while, forget how long. a know this cos i was told by my instructor during the training. and a copper stopped my for speeding and told me again. my license is clear

there is a stereotyping of scooters,

and maybe its not far wrong, but i make a point of being as sensible as possible especially as regards bigger bikes

you wont find a more couteous scoot rider out there, pull up behind me and i will go out of my way to make your journey easier

also, once you get to know the guy under the helmet you will realise that scooter riders arent all bad, that goes for me at least :lol:
