Comming home, Folks behind in a car. Just off our street some girl (1 girl 3 boys) threw a bottle at me. I didnt know untill dad stoped and told me. He went back, mum got out and shouted.
I went back on the bike. I think they knew I was pissed by the revving on the bike.
Stoped right behind them shouting, spesh at the girl. I revved with bloody anger, she scarpered. I went to ride off, but shaking with anger I went off to fast, the bike fell from skidding on leaves. I went with it. Im not hurt, just scraped knees (good job for 2 pairs of jeans) Bike seems ok. Just the front brack bar, the end has cracked off. Fuel everywhere.
Now, im worried about the bike so hid it around the back but wont be useing it for a while.
I know where they live (well they ran into a block of flats)
Can I call the police? What do I do about the bike, if its working ok or not.
Still shaking with anger now.
Any help will be great. |

Telephone the boys in blue and get an incident number for reference to any further problems.
You may find that they are already known to the old bill anyways and is more ammunition to nail the little fudgers.
Fuel on the floor is just from the breather / over spill pipes, dont worry, my bikes have pissed fuel out and started straight away.
Bad luck on the off, its not your fault that people act like tits. ____________________ Current : MSX 125 Past : CBR 900RR Monkeybike : c50 LAC : ZXR750 H2 : FZR600 : ZX7R P3 : YW100 : TRX850: Trophy 900 T309 : GSXR 600 L0: Monkeybike : XJ6S Whosthedaddy

Contact the police and tell them about the bottle throwing and where the kids ran in to.
It will look like they've done sod all, and usually it's true, but if the kids are known to the police it will hopefully be added to a long list and they'll do something about it.
As for coming off your bike... Try and keep your anger under control in future. Stupid coming from me, I have a terrible temper when playing video games, though I'm pretty calm most of the time.
Only yesterday I nearly got wiped out by a blonde in a saxo when she drifted into my lane without looking or indicating on the A48, trapping me between her car and a traffic island. God knows how I managed to squeeze out of it, of course my brakes were screeching and my horn was shouting at the time. Was really one of those "life flashes before your eyes moment's".
Anyway got in front of her and turned around shouting "WHAT THE FUCK?" She had a very scared look on her face and so did all the female passengers in the car - She knew what she did wrong...
At this point I had an urge to rev the engine and fly off at speed (not smart as it was pouring with rain and I was pretty angry). Managed to calm down though and turned off the road.
Maybe it's something that will come with time - I'm sure you'll think twice before getting angry on your bike again ____________________ Yamaha YB100 | Yamaha TZR125 | Yamaha XJ600S | Suzuki GSF600

Beware the red mist Louise - it's been the downfall of many a biker. If you get to feeling like that again when something has happened while you're riding, take a big gulp of air, hold it for a second then let it out slowly. Far better to take a moment to calm down and let the adrenaline settle than do something daft and end up in a wheelchair for the rest of your days. ____________________ a.k.a 'Geri'
