i like how people call the exhausts for 125's "race" pipes to make them sound like there good.
there not specially made for races there all road ones because none of them are powerful/loud enough to break the road use laws and become race only cans.
Yes it will get through the MOT

If it says "not for road use" on the side then no.

If it has anything like an "E" mark on the side, then it will pass.

If it has nothing, its up to the tester to decide if its too loud.

Its only five minutes to swap the cans over anyway.

AFAIK, if it doesn't have the E-mark, then it's deemed as unsuitable for road use anyway, which means that legally-speaking it won't pass an MOT. It's always up to the discretion of the tester, which is good in a way, but means that there are vehicles out there that are potentially dangerous (mainly cars though).

As for swapping cans, can you do that on the NSR? I didn't think so...

No, if it has nothing on it then it is a fail. It is also an offence to supply an unmarked exhaust for either road or track use. It must have either "Not for road use" or the appropriate standards mark on it

All the best

I've got a Nikon Pipe, i wouldn't do too many miles as mine snapped off at where it connects to the silencer, you know its a competition pipe, but it doesn't have any markings like gianelli or arrow so you might make it thru the MOT, makes my bike feckin loud though, getting it lengthened because its a bit too small, and there is nothing holding the silencer on.

You can buy those tags with a E Mark on them.

I dont know how to explain it cause im stoned, i mean those metal plates you stick to your exhaust, the have the european stamp and number to certify the can or exhaust is legal for the road.

You can, but legally you are on very dodgy ground. If you get caught (and it isn't that likely) they can have you for attempting to pervert the course of justice

Nikon Pipes have no marking on them whatsoever, as if you made them yourself.

Webtech - mine didn't improve top end, just acceleration and a nice noise.

Which makes it illegal to use on the road, and illegal to sell full stop
