Someone was telling me that I can get the damaged fairing panels from my SV repaired by platic welding?

Anyone know anything about this?

Plastec plastic welding repair kit. Good stuff, costs about a tenner.

Don't you have to buy the welder too though? Which costs more like 100 quid for a fairly cheapo one?

Not for the plastec kit. It has two reacting chemicals rather than one you melt.

have a look at this
https://www.plastex-uk.com/
had a 6 inch crack in the top fairing plastic welded twice but it kept cracking, fixed it about 10 months ago with the plastex stuff and its held no problems

i bought this stuff on someones recommendation (might have been yours gixxer) and its done a great job sitting under my desk Razz
