tzr bogging

hi,

my tzr 50 runs great on the straight but a small incline on the road causes it to drop rapidly in power and speed. it will not acelerate up a hill feels like it boggs below 5000rpm. hope someone could help.

I think that's normal for 50cc sports bikes. I have one mate with a TZR and another with a Rieju Rs1. They both top out at about 20mph uphill. I think it's just because of the way the gearing set up. Are you going up these hills just to go back down them?

It's a 50cc bike, the wind will affect the speed.

I think that sounds fairly normal - you need to change down sooner and keep the revs up.
They are tuned that way to make the best of the limited power you have.

Has it been serviced (properly) recently?
Might need the air filter and plugs renewing.
