Got into biking late, aged 25 when I bought me first bike... 28 now... Did me theory yonks ago, passed first time, but due to me and the ex splitting up, and the joys of CSA getting involved (despite us already having a witnessed active maintenance agreement) and CouncilTax charging me for 100% of our joint CouncilTax bill from 2yrs ago, I've been too skint to do the practical so have been riding round for past 2 years on Ls.

Anyhoo, 1 days training on Wednesday (in the pissing rain and howling gales), same again friday, then yesterday, in howling gales and horrid low sun bouncing off the road to obscure all road markings and rendering me blind for 40% of the test route (fortunately no rain), passed first time!

5 minors... 2 for gears - clunky old CB500S with a tendency to go into Neutral instead of first, and sheer laziness at a roundabout where I decided to pull away in 2nd cos I knew the bike could handle it...
2 for traffic signals - went thru a set of lights on amber, and indicated in a filter lane where it was unnecessary... 1 for observation checks - didn't think I used me mirrors enough, but stated I did enough lifesavers to compensate but had to be marked on it.

Chuffed as chips is me...! Very Happy

Sticking with the derestricted Mito125 fer now... finish tarting her up, then sell and buy a nice l'il 400 or 600... not fussy really. Mainly wanna get onto 4T just to avoid the ass-pain that is using a 2T as a short-distance commuter.
