I know a few people on here use Newsgroups instead of torrents so wondering what one has the most files (360 games), cheapest & most monthly usage.

I was looking at Usenext as it has it's own search engine which saves time if you're a beginner because you have to find you're isp's server name then manually browse for diffrent groups (Probably an easier way)

But yer, any info is great. Thumbs Up

i use giganews but due to the size of 360 games and the amount your likely to download youd need the unlimited package.

you should use newzbin as your search engine for nzb files no matter which NG service provider you choose.

I'll download 3 games a month at the most. I tried those NZB files earlier along with Newleecher & couldn't get the hang of it. Embarassed

its easy. i use newsleecher as well. just double click the .nzb and it should open in newsleecher then click the connect button and itll do its stuff. if not right click the .nzb file then select OPEN WITH...if newsleecher isnt in the list then click CHOOSE PROGRAM and browse for newsleecher.exe if needed.

im on the 25gb per month tier just now with giganews but will be going back up to unlimited once i get a 360 im guessing.

NZB files (ideally via Newzbin.com) + Grabit are probably the easiest way to get the hang of Usenet. If you can't get to grips with that then give up whilst you're still ahead. Razz

Thanks guys, i quickly signed up for a trail at Usenext. Quite a few 360 Pal games.

£6.00 a month for 20GB which is a bout 3 games, isn't too bad.

your usenet provider doesnt determine how many games are on their

all they do is provide you with the service of getting onto the usenext server
