Do you mean by Leicester Square?
There's a bike bay round the corner as well, in fact several within walking distance, that usually have spaces. The best one is at the bottom of Lower Regent St, usually you can park in there, cos its a slightly longer walk back up to the main shopping drag (I have chosen this final word specifically).
I hate West End parking bays these days, always full of office-jockey peds, the ratio of peds to "proper" bikes is about 3 to 1 these days.
When I worked in Great Portland St, I always used to park in Great Marlborough St, and get my courier mates to keep an eye on it during the day. If somebody tried to move my bike to fit theirs in, one of The Lads would usually lumber over and go "Oi! Don't touch that fkn bike if ya know whats good for ya!"
I luv having scary mates There's nothing that makes a girlie feel more protected than having the hunky Uncle Davy from the FFDRC for a chum ____________________ Not nearly as interesting in real life. |
