tzr idling probs

my tzr 50 will idle fine when cold but when warms up the idle wont drop below 2500rpm. I thought that the cable might be sticking but if i turn off and back on again without touching throttle it idles perfect at 1600rpm, but as soon i take the revs past 2500rpm it will stay there till i turn off again. NEED HELP RAN OUTA IDEAS

could someone give me carb settings?

also when riding the temp light comes on what could be the reason for that????

having alot of trouble with my bike HELP!!!!

Have you tried adjusting the pilot air screw? Could be running a tad lean at idle once warm. Or could be an airleak Confused

I have tried all different adjustments and have got it out 2.5 turns with blue smoke so thought it was just right.

will give it anither shot thanks

2.5 turns is a bit excessive I would of thought..more like 1 - 1 1/2. The blue smoke thing is irrelavant - pilot air screw has ZERO to do with oil injection.

I had it at 1 1/2 turn at one point but the temp light came on, is this linked or a different prob??

The temp light is something else..check your water level in the resevoir for a start.

when i bought it a changed the water and anti freeze, checked the oil etc. as i can see the water is at max.

any other sugestions

No steam out the exhaust???? Creamy coloured gearbox oil or anything scary like that? Does the engine and pipework get red hot to coincide with the light coming on, is the radiator and pipes warm all over etc.

nope dnt think any of they symptoms are present. the oil is a almost grey colour that i checked yestarday. would the needle in the carb be somthing to do with it???
