Get a spark plug first. It will probably start then...!

The immobilizer light stays on when you have the key in the ignition turned into the on position.. or is it the oil light? Cant rember, sure your not getting confused?

There is no way round the immobiliser on one of these. You need to take the bike and the RED key to your nearest dealer who can check it out for you.

The problem could be
- ecu
- generator
- chip in the key
- transponder not reading the key

all of which is checkable and fixable but not by you.

Is your battery OK? If it is flat or even down on power that could have caused the problem but it will still need resetting by a dealer.

If you don't have the RED key you are stuffed and will need a complete replacement system.

New one £350 from a dealer, plus fitting.

You may find someone who will sell you one to fit yourself but there'll be no warranty so if you fit it and it's a fault with the bike it'll just do the same thing again.

You might get one cheaper 2nd hand but the'yre few and far between, and see above.

Have you got the RED key? Cos a diagnostic would be your best bet, it might be something easy.......

Without the RED key it is scrap mate. No way to diagnose the problem and decode your immobiliser.

Lesson for today people, no matter what condition it is in NEVER buy a Speedfight without a RED key!

(NB this also applies to Gilera Runners. No master key you need to knock at least £350 off the asking price)
